Woodvale Primary School - An Independent Public School
Woodvale Primary School, located in Perth’s northern suburbs, opened in 1987 and is one of two K—Year 6 government primary schools in Woodvale. It caters for a population living in medium to high quality housing. The parent body is very supportive of the school through an active and enthusiastic Parents & Citizen’s Association. Parent involvement is a feature of the school.
The school is currently a level 5 primary school in the North Metropolitan Region. The administration team is comprised of a principal and two deputy principals. Senior teachers and special responsibility allowance teachers support the school through their roles in curriculum coordination, administration and professional development.
Manager Corporate Services and School Officer work with the school administration and a Library Officer manages the extensive school library and Teacher’s Resource Centre. Education assistants support teaching staff in the Pre-Primary and Kindergarten areas, while others work with special needs children throughout the school. Find out more….
