For about fifteen minutes after lunch the senior students participate in simple activities and games to help their buddies develop skills in Maths or English. The Year Ones enjoy this time with their buddies and look forward to it each week. Well done to all the students involved. Keep up the good work.

Fathering Project – Bike Ride

Great time was had by all at this year’s Woodvale Fathering Project bike ride. The weather was very kind, with the rain staying off and almost all of the kids and Dad’s doing the full 7km course through the suburb, Palm Park, Yellagonga Regional Park and then along Timberlane Park and back to the school.

Congratulations on a great ride from all involved, it was a great way to spend a Sunday morning and was amusing to see a few puffed out Dad’s!

More coming up next term for the Fathering Project – come along to the next one! We’ll keep you posted on dates and events!
