Sport

DSC_0407.JPGWoodvale Primary School has placed a strong emphasis on sport and physical education. Under the guidance of Mr Corry Bewick, Woodvale has maintained a successful program over a long period, winning 14 of the past 19 interschool athletics carnivals. Throughout the year, representative teams participate in a variety of events/competitions and all students complete an in-term swimming program.

Congratulations to Olympians, Tina Morgan (taekwondo- 2004 & 2008) and Casey Dellacqua (tennis-2008 & 2012) who are both Woodvale graduates. Woodvale Primary School has also been very successful in the State Primary Tennis Championships, winning the boys competition in 1997 and 2002.
